Recently, Chris Maguire, co founder of Etsy.com, Postling.com, Waffl.com and Hypercombofinish.com spoke to SRB, BHSA, and other Temple student professional organizations. He delivered an enthusiastic speech accompanied by interesting drawings to keep the students engaged. Chris is an Entrepreneur, Web Developer, and Comic Drawing artist. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Chris graduated from NYU’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study in 2004 and from J.R. Masterman public high school in 2000. Along with his many accomplishments, Chris ran into numerous obstacles from co-worker conflicts to database crashes. Through all of the late night stress and hardships he persevered to launch websites such as Etsy.com and his most recent on-going project Postling.com. Postling.com is designed for small businesses to easily manage all of their social media from Facebook to Twitter to YouTube. Chris also spoke about how he is interested in making a profitable business a sustainable one as well. He is making strides toward his goals of working on fun new projects and incorporating sustainability aspects.
